In Condéon, Charente, this peaceful but not isolated property brings together a stone main house ready to move into and a separate cottage to finish. The property offers 260 m² of living space and includes six bedrooms and four shower rooms or bathrooms. The land totals 9,900 m².

Two homes with their own private spaces

The main house and cottage are arranged back to back, each with its own garden and private spaces. The 110 m² cottage has three bedrooms. Its kitchen and shower rooms are new, but the fittings still need to be installed and some finishing work, including painting, is required. The necessary materials are on site. It also includes a laundry room, a toilet and a large living room with a high ceiling and fireplace.

A bright, well-equipped main house

The main house has a 10.6 m² entrance hall, a 13.6 m² ground-floor bedroom with wooden flooring and a fireplace, a 4.5 m² shower room and a separate toilet. Angoulême, the nearest large town, is about 25 minutes away by car. Its train station serves Paris and Bordeaux by TGV, with a stated journey time of two hours to Paris. Bordeaux is about 40 minutes from the town centre according to one indication, and 50 minutes away by car according to another. Cognac is about 30 minutes away and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne about 30 minutes away; the latter is known for its underground church and the River Dronne. The Dordogne is about an hour away. A 15-minute walk through the countryside leads to the renovated former grain mill, which overlooks the valley and the village of Condéon.

The free four-lane road connected to the N10, heading south towards Bordeaux and towards Paris, is about five minutes away. The nearby airports mentioned are Bordeaux, Bergerac, La Rochelle, Poitiers and Limoges; the stated journey times are about 1 hour 40 minutes for Bergerac and La Rochelle, and 1 hour 45 minutes for Poitiers. Bordeaux also has a TGV station and an international airport.
